A Year-Long Presentation Series

The Friends of Southern Lehigh Public Library cordially invite you to join us throughout the year to attend a series of special events. We are sure that everyone will enjoy the variety of music, talks, and presentations offered in this series.

Friends of the Library can purchase entrance to an individual event for $8.00 per event or purchase the full series of 8 events for just $50.00 (a 20% discount).

Non-members can purchase entrance to an individual event for $10.00 per event or purchase the full series of 8 events for just $64.00 (a 20% discount).

Seating is limited. Pre-registration required; names will be taken at the door. All sales final.  Registration for this series begins January 2024. Registration costs are non-refundable.

Linda Kenyon presents a one woman show about the woman who transformed sports for American women.

Gardening for Birds and Butterflies

Learn how to attract more beautiful birds and butterflies to your own backyard by creating a healthy backyard habitat. The presentation will be given by Barbara Malt of the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society.  Barbara has been a member of its Executive Board for over 20 years, currently serving as its Vice President and Head of the education committee.  Co-author of the book Birds of the Lehigh Valley and Vicinity.

Tom Beltz, Curator of Exhibitions for Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society tells how “Forged by Fire: the Heroism, Honor, and History of Firefighting” was conceived and executed. This exhibit is currently on display at the Sigal Museum in Easton.
