This will be a “soft” slam, meaning we will accept either original or favorite poems. We want to provide an overall positive atmosphere, with the audience and other slammers being the judges. Prizes will be awarded in several categories: Funniest, Most Touching, Most Dramatic, and Best Overall. EVENT FLYER

Join us for our 8^th annual trip around the world especially for 2^nd-5^th graders. At your first session, you will receive a special passport. Bring it with you to be stamped at each session you attend. Every session will be filled with discoveries: stories, songs, crafts, food and more from countries around our planet. Come and share the adventure! Registration is limited to 25 participants per session, with a limit of three sessions per child. The sessions do not include the Culminating Party. Families are invited to the final party and is open to all 2nd-5th graders and their families who register for the party! Each year the Kiwanis Club of Southern Lehigh partners with SLPL for a fascinating and educational trip around the world. Come out and have fun with us as we travel the globe!
