    Southern Lehigh Public Library is a place filled with books, newspapers, magazines, DVDs, music CDs, audio books, e-readers, computers, reading tables, meeting space, programs for all ages, and knowledgeable staff, and it’s available to all residents thanks to the financial support of the community. YOU are the bookends! Your donation to the library’s 2015/2016 Helping Hands Campaign will support library services throughout the year.

    WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS: FEBRUARY 3 - APRIL 13 FROM 1 - 4 PM

    AARP LogoTrained AARP volunteers will provide FREE tax assistance and preparation service to residents with low and moderate incomes.

    • Service is provided here at the library
    • Walk-in service only
    • Clients taken on first come, first served basis
    • No age restrictions apply
    • You do NOT need to be an AARP member

    THE HOMES OF FDR & ELEANOR ROOSEVELT

    THURSDAY, MAY 5, 2016

    Join us for an historic visit to the homes of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. We will have a guided one-hour tour of Val-Kill Cottage, Eleanor’s home, in the morning, followed by lunch on your own at Eveready Diner. We will then travel to Springwood, FDR’s boyhood home, for another one-hour guided tour. Following that, we will have some free time before boarding the bus for our trip home.

    APPOINTMENTS ON MONDAYS, 11 AM - 3 PM

    Do you need help with basic skills, internet, email, Facebook, Microsoft Word/Publisher, Kindle/Nook/ipad, Overdrive for ebooks, job applications?

    Only $5.00 for a 45 minute session

    Computer hardware problems will not be addressed.

    Appointments must be made in advance. Schedule in person at the Circulation Desk or call 610-282-8834.
