On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, the library is closed. No overdue fines will be charged for items due on days when the library is closed.  Valley Music Together classes and AARP Tax Assistance program is cancelled. Queen Victoria: An Evening with Her Majesty program has been postponed until Wednesday, April 25, 7PM.  If you have already registered for this program and cannot attend on April 25, please call the library at 610-282-8825 X834 and let us know so that we can allow someone else to take your seat.

    Her reign of 63 years and seven months was longer than that of any of her predecessors, and is known as the Victorian era. It was a period of industrial, cultural, political, scientific, and military change within the United Kingdom, and was marked by a great expansion of the British Empire.

You may stop by the library each Wednesday, 1-4PM, and wait until the end of the day to see if additional clients can be seen, but there is no guarantee.     Join us for a fun day in Lancaster starting with a hot luncheon buffet in the unique setting of the historic Cork Factory Hotel, built in 1865 and a member of the Historic Hotels of America. Following lunch, we arrive at the Fulton Theater, another historic building built in 1852, to see the popular musical, "The Million Dollar Quartet". It's based on an impromptu jam session with Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash on  December 4,1956 in Memphis, Tennessee - one of the greatest jam sessions of all time! It features such rock 'n roll classics as "Hound Dog", "Blue Suede Shoes", "Memories are Made of This", and much, much more.

    Cost is $105.00 per person and includes round trip bus, hot luncheon buffet, show and all gratuities. Deadline to register is April 6, 2018. Space is limited so sign up early!

Experts from the PA Dept. of Agriculture and Penn State Extension will present information about the Spotted Lanternfly and the ongoing efforts to eradicate this invasive species.
