COVID-19 and the Library
This page is dedicated to providing current information regarding COVID-19 mitigation efforts at the Southern Lehigh Public Library. The page will be updated as needed to reflect the ever-changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Southern Lehigh Public Library follows guidance from the CDC, Office of Commonwealth Libraries and the PA Department of Health in regards to masking and other COVID prevention recommendations.
As of June 3, 2022
Masks are optional for all persons entering the building
If you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID, you are encouraged to wear a mask. So that all residents can safely and comfortably use the library, and as a courtesy to those who are at high risk and those who are not able to receive a vaccine, please note the following:
Exception: Masks are required for everyone during the following times:
Mondays 7:30pm-8:30 pm
Thursdays 9:00-10:00 am (the library opens early)
Curbside service is available. Please have your library card ready when we come out to deliver your items.
Our Youth Programming Librarian is offering in-person, outdoor and virtual programs so that all families have the ability to take part in programs at the library.
If you have any questions or concerns about our COVID-19 procedures, please contact the Director, Lynnette Saeger at [email protected].
We thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation through this challenging time.
