Our closing program of the Summer will feature a very special performance by David Engel Entertainment titled “Cap’n Nemo’s Adventure Academy!” The description below is taken from their website.

Take a deep dive into environmental stewardship and earth science with Captain Nemo himself. The cantankerous and ever-curious Captain Nemo lives to excite kids about our watery-blue planet and highlight for us landlubbers the vital inter-dependence of all living things. This reclusive maritime hero entertains, inspires, and challenges children 4 to 11, while quenching their thirst for knowledge of the Wonders of the Deep. During this laugh-riot program, the Cycle of Life above and below the waves is showcased via encounters with the elusive Angler Fish, a giant squid, a jar of bioluminescent plankton and even whale poop!

This immersive theatrical experience features beautiful sound effects, hilarious slapstick hijinks, magic, bubble-play, and full-audience participation. Created and performed by David Engel who tours to performing arts centers, festivals, schools, and museums nationwide and internationally.
