Registration for library programs will now be done using our website calendar. Simply click the “Register” Icon for the event you would like to sign up. You only
need to register the participant/child. Registration requires a library card number.

Each child is required to have their own library card to attend programming. Ask at the circulation desk about the “My First Library Card” program, or sign up online for a library card here.

Summer Fun Club 2026

Unearth a Story/Desentierra Una Historia

Children, Youth & Family Programming Registration Opens June 9th at 8:00pm

Summer Fun Club Opening Program –Marian and Friends, Ventriloquist: Thursday, June 18th at 6:30pm – Help us kick off our Summer Fun Club with unique and fun entertainment of Marian and Friends, Ventriloquist.

Game Play: (Ages 2 – 6 years old) Fridays June 19th and July 17th at 10:30am - Get your bodies moving with play/gym equipment.

Lego Free Build: (Ages 5+) Saturday, June 20th at 10:30am - Come use your imagination to create your own Lego masterpieces to be displayed in the library.

Pokémon Card Club/Trading Card Club: (Ages 6+) Mondays June 22nd and July 27that 4:30pm - Come share your love of Pokémon card collecting/playing as well as all types of trading cards such as sports trading cards, Minecraft, etc.

Kit’s Interactive Theatre’s, “Colonial Faire”: (Ages 4+) Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:30pm - Get ready for United States’ Semiquincentennial with a show that depicts the arduous life of early America as well as the revelry. Though days of rest and merriment are few, today is the day of the Colonial Faire. Help indentured servant Katie Cotswold finish her chores so all may skip off to the faire. Partake in the games and frolics where merriment abounds just before the rollicking Maypole dance! Performance combines history, dance, music, imagination, and improvisation with a great mixture of humor. Kids and adults are cast right into the show.

Mixed Age Storytime (Session 1): Tuesdays June 23rd – August 4th at 10:00am *Please sign up child/children for only 1 Storytime session.

Mixed Age Storytime (Session 2): Tuesdays June 23rd – August 4th at 11:15am *Please sign up child/children for only 1 Storytime session.

Baby Storytime: (Ages Birth – 24 months) Fridays on June 26th, July 10th, and July 31st at 10:30am

Storytime at Lower Milford Township Building: Mondays June 22nd and July 13th at 10:00am – Join us for storytime at the Lower Milford Township building.

Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks Music Class (Session 1): Thursdays July 9th – August 6th at 9:30am (no class July 23rd) *Please sign up for only 1 music class session.

Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks Music Class (Session 2): Thursdays July 9th – August 6th at 10:05am (no class July 23rd) *Please sign up for only 1 music class session.

Dinosaur Adventure Show: Thursday, June 25th at 6:30pm - Paleontologists Mike and Roberta will explain how they became interested in science and the work of a scientist. The presentation will feature an Albertosaurus skull. They will highlight the features of this carnivore and examine the characteristics of this dinosaur. Audience members will experience the thrill of digging up a real Triceratops dinosaur bone and then help construct a dinosaur on a large cut-out. Audience participation, a touch of magic, and show & tell with rare fossils will round out this fun, educational and exciting adventure!

Museum of Indian Culture Lifeways and Lore Program: (Ages 4+) Saturday, June 27th at 11:00am - Through folklore and fun, the Lifeways and Lore Program introduces younger audiences to American Indian cultures. This interactive hands-on program encourages children to participate by answering questions about early American Indian cultures from food sources to animal pelts. Children will hear stories that are not only fun but also teach a practical lesson.

Kids Morning Dance Party: Monday, June 29th at 10:30am – Come on over to the library and dance the morning away!

Kids Evening Dance Party: Monday, June 29th at 6:30pm – Come on over to the library and dance the night away!

Animal Enrichment Program with Girl Scout Samantha Weaver: (Ages 7+) Tuesday, June 30th at 2:00pm – Samantha is working on her gold award which is animal enrichment for the Last Chance Ranch. Please join her in learning about animal enrichment and to make dog toys for dogs in shelters.

Tween & Teen Crafternoon:(Ages 10 – 17 years old) Wednesdays July 1st and August 5th at 1:30pm – Join artist and creator Sam Polascik in creating a wall hanging picture holder for session one, and a paint and snack for session two. Both sessions include an afternoon of crafting, friendship, and fun!

Beginner Magic Workshop with Magician Brian Richards: (K-8th grade) Thursday, July 2nd at 6:30pm. In this one-hour workshop, Brian will take kids backstage and reveal the true secrets of how to amaze others. Using common household objects, Brian will show magicians-to-be how to perform tricks. The workshop is designed for grades K - 8.

Eyes of the Wild: Wednesday, July 8th at 10:30am - Eyes of The Wild is an exotic animal rescue that provides forever homes to over 175 animals and 60 different species from throughout the animal kingdom. Their goal is to educate and inspire a love of nature in audiences of all ages. Live animals will be present for the program.

Family Evening Movie: Wednesday, July 8th at 6:15pm Watch Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian (PG) on our big screen while enjoying snacks.

Dungeon and Dragons Club: (For new and experienced players ages 12+) Thursday, July 9th from 6:00-8:00pm - Adventure League and Homebrew One-Shot Campaigns. Three tables are available with experienced DMs running the campaigns. Dice and character sheets available or bring your own. D&D app and D&D Beyond welcome.

Tail Wagging Readers: Saturday, July 11th at 11:00am – Come and read to therapy dogs at the library. Great for reluctant readers.

Storytime Yoga w/ Deanna Nagle: (Ages 3+) Wednesday, July 15th at 11:00am - Join certified yoga instructor, Deanna Nagle for a family friendly yoga class that combines storybooks and yoga.

Rock Painting Party: Wednesday, July 15th at 6:30pm – Libraries Rock so come on over to the library to paint and decorate rocks. Make a kindness rock, pet rock, or rock garden decoration.

Kids’ Virtual BINGO on Zoom: Tuesday, July 28th at 6:30pm – Play BINGO live on Zoom and win gift card to Inside Scoop or our book sale room!

Family Fort Night: Wednesday, July 29th at 6:30pm - Bring blankets, pillows, books, flashlights, and then find a space in the library to build your fort and read (the library will be closed to the public for this special event).

Kids Chess Club: (Ages 7 – 17 years old): Thursday, July 30th at 6:30pm – Learn and practice chess skills by playing with peers.

Nature Program w/ Lehigh County Conservation District: Monday, August 3rd at 11:00am – Join Miss Laura of LCCD for an educational and fun filled nature program.

Outdoor Chalk & Bubble Fun: Wednesday, August 5th at 10:30am – Join us outdoors behind our library for some Chalk & Bubble Fun (program will be cancelled if weather is not favorable).

Closing Program Outdoor Bubble Party: Thursday, August 6th at 6:30pm – Help us celebrate the end of our Summer Fun Club with an outdoor bubble party and Kona Ice Truck treats. If inclement weather occurs, we will move the fun inside with a carnival event.

Earn Raffle tickets for each event you attend as well as for logging your summer reading using the free Beanstack app. Over 50 raffle prizes will be raffled off at the end of the summer for children, teens, and adults!
