Registration for library programs will now be done using our website calendar. Simply click the “Register” Icon for the event you would like to sign up. You only
need to register the participant/child. Registration requires a library card number.

Each child is required to have their own library card to attend programming. Ask at the circulation desk about the “My First Library Card” program, or sign up online for a library card here.

  • Mixed Age Storytime (Session 1): Tuesdays September 10th – October 29th at 10:00am *Please Sign up child/children for only 1 storytime session
  • Mixed Age Storytime (Session 2): Tuesdays September 10th – October 29th at 11:15am *Please Sign up child/children for only 1 storytime session
  • Baby Storytime: (Ages Birth – 24 months): Fridays on September 13th, September 27th, October 11th, October 25th at 10:30am
  • Dungeon and Dragons Club: (For new and experienced players ages 12 – 101) Thursdays September 12th, October 10th, November 14th, and December 12th from 6:00-8:00pm – Adventure League and Homebrew One-Shot Campaigns. Three tables available with experienced DMs running the campaigns. Dice and character sheets available or bring your own. D&D app and D&D Beyond welcome.
  • Tail Wagging Readers: Saturdays September 14th, October 12th, November 9th at 11:00am – Come and read to therapy dogs at the library. Great for reluctant readers
  • Pokémon Card Club: (Ages 6+) Mondays September 16th, October 21st, and November 18th at 4:30pm – Come share your love of Pokémon card collecting and playing with others.
  • Craft Corner: (Ages 3+) Wednesdays September 18th, October 16th, November 20th at 1:00pm – Come for an hour of crafting fun. New crafts each session.
  • Game Play: (Ages 2 – 6 years old) Friday, September 20th and Friday, October 18th at 10:30am – Get your bodies moving with play/gym equipment
  • Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks Music Class (Session 1): Thursdays September 19th – October 24th at 10:00am *Please sign up for only 1 music class session

  • Karate Storytime with Lehigh Valley Martial Arts: Thursday, October 3rd at 6:30pm. Join us for a karate themed storytime with Lehigh Valley Martial Arts of Emmaus.
  • Kids BINGO on Zoom: Wednesday, October 9th at 6:30pm on Zoom *Play BINGO to win gift cards to Inside Scoop or our Book Sale Room.
  • Family Movie Night: Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:15pm – Watch Disney’s Hocus Pocus on our big screen while enjoying snacks
  • Halloween Evening Storytime: Thursday, October 31st at 6:30pm – Come out in your Halloween costume for a spooktacular storytime!
  • Storytime Yoga w/ Deanna Nagle: (Ages 3+): Monday, November 4th at 11:00am
  • Nature Program w/ Lehigh County Conservation District: Wednesday, November 6th at 10:30am – Join Miss Laura of LCCD for an educational and fun filled nature program
  • Kids STEAM Club: (2nd – 6th grade) Wednesday, November 13th at 6:30pm. Explore hands-on science, engineering, arts, and math projects.
  • Dinosaur Adventure Show with Field Paleontologists Mike and Roberta Straka: Thursday, November 21st at 6:30pm – Mike and Roberta will explain how they became interested in science and the work of a scientist. The presentation will feature Mr. Nixon, an eight-foot Triceratops skull discovered by the team in 1996. Audience members will experience the thrill of digging up real Triceratops dinosaur bone and then help construct a dinosaur on a large cut-out. Audience participation, a touch of magic, and show and tell with rare fossils will round out this fun, educational and exciting adventure!
  • Slime & Sundaes: (ages 5+) Wednesday, November 27th at 2:00pm – Join us for some fun making homemade slime followed by making ice cream sundaes. *This program contains food so allergens may be present.
  • Play to Learn Workshop: A Family Place Program (Ages 12 – 42 Months) Tuesdays November 5th – December 3rd at 10:30am – Caregivers and children interact with age-appropriate educational toys in a relaxed, safe environment with the opportunity to speak individually with early childhood specialists on a variety of child development topics. This is a 5-week workshop for both caregivers and children. Caregiver/child must commit to 4 of the 5 sessions to attend. *Siblings are welcome to attend if needed.
