Open Studio Art Class
Adults & high school students may take drawing or painting classes from local award-winning artist, Rose Mavis. You choose the medium: watercolors, acrylics, oils, pen & ink or pencil. Students must obtain their own supplies. Printable supply lists below. All skill levels are welcome. PRINTABLE FLYER
Mondays from 1:30 - 4:30PM - Cost $160 per 6-week session
Winter Session I: Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb. 6, 13, 2012 (snow dates: Feb. 20 & 27)
Winter Session II: Mar. 5, 12, 19, 26, Apr. 2, 9, 2012 (snow date: Apr. 16)
Spring Session: Apr. 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, June 4
Register in person at the library or with credit card by phone at least one week in advance.

2012 Rotating Art Show Schedule
Eighth Annual Juried Photography Show: Photos on any topic will be accepted. The photos will be judged on quality of print, composition and, originality. January 23rd -> March 5th Delivery on the 21st of January
Students Show (Elementary, Junior and Senior High): Includes ANY 2D art, photos and small needle arts that can be hung in library (quilts, fiber art etc.) March 19st -> April 30th Delivery on the 16th of March

Quilting Class with Jolene Keefer
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. WAITING LIST ONLY.
Beginners or Experienced Welcome
Have you always wanted to learn to quilt? Can you sew a seam on a sewing machine?
If so, register for a six-session quilting class. You will learn rotary cutting, piecing, layering and hand or machine quilting on a lap or crib-sized quilt using the log cabin pattern.
OR...if you already quilt, and would like to start a new one, need a refresher, or want to try a more challenging project of YOUR choice, come quilt with us for the fellowship and opportunity to ask for help when needed.
Please bring a portable sewing machine if available, but if not, the library will try to provide one for you.
