PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN DIALECT CLASSES
Members of The Pennsylvania German Groundhog Lodges present these classes covering vocabulary, verb conjugation, sentence structure, and conversations.
Fee includes all class handouts and book. Class size is limited. Register in person at the library by Sept. 1st.
Monday evenings from 7 - 9 PM. Cost is $30.00

 Open Studio Art Class
Adults & high school students may take drawing or painting classes from local award-winning artist, Rose Mavis. You choose the medium; watercolors, acrylics, oils, pen & ink, or pencil. First-time students (only) may arrange to borrow a beginner supply kit to use during the first 6-week class. Continuing students must obtain their own supplies; materials list given at registration. Register in person at least one week in advance. A portion of the class fees benefits the library. All skill levels are welcome.

Due to the popularity of our “Gardening Around the Year” series we are pleased to announce:
Gardening Around the Year - 2nd Planting
“Nutrition in your Garden” - Cancelled due to lack of participation
Wednesday; August 11, 2010 @ 6:30PM
“Flower Arranging & Fall Centerpiece Workshop” - Master Gardener Pat Ojea and friends will demonstrate the fine art of flower arranging. Participants will make & take a small fall arrangement with their choice of fresh or silk flowers; $10 materials fee payable at the time of registration. Must register in person. Class size is limited. Bring scissors & garden clippers if available.
