Registration for library programs will now be done using our website calendar. Simply click the “Register” Icon for the event you would like to sign up. You only
need to register the participant/child. Registration requires a library card number.
Each child is required to have their own library card to attend programming. Ask at the circulation desk about the “My First Library Card” program, or sign up online for a library card here.
- Mixed Age Storytime (Session 1): Tuesdays September 9th – October 28th at 10:00am *Please Sign up child/children for only 1 storytime session
- Mixed Age Storytime (Session 2): Tuesdays September 9th – October 28th at 11:15am *Please Sign up child/children for only 1 storytime session
- Baby Storytime: (Ages Birth – 24 months): Fridays on September 19th, October 3rd, October 17th, October 31st at 10:30am
- Dungeon and Dragons Club: (For new and experienced players ages 12 – 101) Thursdays September 11th, October 9th, November 13th, and December 11th from 6:00-8:00pm – Adventure League and Homebrew One-Shot Campaigns. Tables are available with experienced DMs running the campaigns. Dice and character sheets available or bring your own. D&D app and D&D Beyond welcome.
- Tail Wagging Readers: Saturdays September 13th, October 11th, November 8th at 11:00am – Come and read to therapy dogs at the library. Great for reluctant readers.
- PJ Storytime: Wednesday, September 17th at 6:30pm – Come on over to the library in your pjs for some evening storytime fun!
- Kids STEAM Time: (Ages 6 – 12 years old) Monday, September 22nd at 11:00am – Join us for an hour of STEAM stations and fun on this day off from school!
- Pokémon Card/Trading Card Club: (Ages 6+) Mondays September 22nd, October 27th, and November 24th at 4:30pm – Come share your love of Pokémon card collecting/playing as well as all types of trading cards such as sports cards, Minecraft, etc.
- Game Play: (Ages 2 – 6 years old) Friday, September 12th and Friday, October 10th at 10:30am – Get your bodies moving with play/gym equipment.

- Kids Chess Club: (Ages 7 – 17) Thursdays September 25th and October 23rd at 6:30pm
- Kit’s Interactive Theatre: (Ages 5+) Wednesday, October 8th at 6:30pm – Sleepy Hollow Halloween Show – 1799, a spooky and fun interactive play by Kit’s Interactive Theatre. Tour Sleepy Hollow with Katrina Van Tassel and Ichabod Crane, where skeletons high-step in a graveyard dance and hobgoblins haunt villagers in this spooky-but not scary-Halloween tale. Performance combines literature, dance, music, imagination, and improvisation with a great mixture of humor. Kids and adults are cast right into the show.
- Kids Craft Time: (Ages 5—11 years old) Monday, October 13th at 11am and Tuesday, November 25th at 2:00pm. Join us for a story and some crafting fun on these days off from school!
- Family Halloween Movie Night: Thursday, October 16th at 6:15pm – Watch Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2 (Rated PG) on our big screen while enjoying snacks.
- Halloween Storytime: Thursday, October 30th at 6:30pm – Come out in your Halloween costume for a spooktacular storytime!
- Kids Open Mic/Talent Show: (Ages 5+) Monday, November 3rd at 6:30pm – Come out and show off your talent at our kids open mic/talent show.
- Storytime Yoga w/ Deanna Nagle: (Ages 3+): Wednesday, November 5th at 11:00am – Join certified yoga instructor, Deanna Nagle for a family friendly yoga class that combines storybooks and yoga.
- Nature Program w/ Lehigh County Conservation District: Monday, November 24th at 11:00am – Join Miss Laura of LCCD for an educational and fun filled nature program on this day off from school.
- Play to Learn Workshop: A Family Place Program (Ages 12 – 42 Months) Tuesdays November 4th – December 2nd at 10:30am – Caregivers and children interact with age-appropriate educational toys in a relaxed, safe environment with the opportunity to speak individually with early childhood specialists on a variety of child development topics. This is a 5-week workshop for both caregivers and children. Caregiver/child must commit to 4 of the 5 sessions to attend. *Siblings are welcome to attend if needed.
